My wife took this test today. She spent a good few weeks reviewing / revising every night. She went at it like she did with the Life in the UK Test. She only holds a provisional driving license and has never driven before. The online test was 57 minutes long and with about 14 minutes for the Hazard Perception bolt on. She came out after 37 minutes and I feared the worst. But she had in fact passed. The result and certification was instant.

    So now onto driving lessons.

Make sure there's no TT race when she take's the practical.
She might think she's back in the Philippines.

:D Yes. The roads are so much busier then. So we will avoid that fortnight.

My wife is currently practicing her theory test. The hazard thing is a bit bizzare really. Surely this can be judged by te examiner in the reality test.

I had a go at her practice software and detected 5 hazards, yet scored 0/5 because I tapped at the wrong time!

Next time it came up with 0/5. Cheating detected. So I've got the right hump about the hazard thing. Don't are though. I've already passed.

Yeah. Me too. A couple of us worked out that an experienced driver is likely to see more potential hazards. Hence the poor performance.
