Download the instruction and application first, it will tell you all what you need to do. Then browse through here as there are lots of information already you can find in this forum. Look for Micawber posts, he is always updated on any new changes with regards to all type of visas and rules. Good luck!

A warm welcome on the site. :welcome: :like:

As you scout around, you will find a mine of info on the various forums, and there is definitively no need to involve agents of any description, as they will take your money only to collate information and documents that you have to supply yourself anyway...:erm:

So if you download the forms, check the guidance notes, and look at the list of documents required, you will see that after all it ain't rocket science...

    Good luck.

Thank you all for the information. It would be great starting for my application.
I'm ex uk under student visa. Im married here in Philippines not working since I got home.

About the documents I needed to provide. Aside from my husband's employment details and money , As i worked before in UK do I still need to show my uk-bank statements, p60, p45, naric evaluation and all papers related to my work and studies in UK?
And I took ielts exam in UK. Is my exam still valid on my application?
    Thank you

Presumably you are the applicant and your husband the sponsor. If so then you wont need to supply your P60 or payslips as the UKBA focus is on the sponsor in such matters.

Do you hold a degree from a UK university ( taught in English ) ? This is all you would need to satisfy the english language requirement.

Of course its still valid. But when you have to apply for ILR and Citizenship they also require Life in UK test or ESOL with Citizenship.
