does regular overtime count for a visa,i have had it for the passed 5 years without a break, take home 1950 per month.
Yes you can use overtime to meet the financial requirement of £18,600 when applying under Category A For salaried employment the case worker will take the lowest one of the 6 months payslips you submitted (inclusive of overtime) and times it by 12 to show you meet the requirement.
With that monthly amount coming in, this is should be the last of your worries on applying for a visa. Concentrate on more important thins, proof opf contact, pictures together, marriage certificate, hotel receipts and boarding card stubs, and all the rest of the documentation needed in a tidy and orderly pile. Welcome aboard...........
I have never kept my hotel receipts or boarding card pass, i was hoping to just use my passport stamps and photo's together in that time, would that be ok.
You can only submit what you have in your possession, passport stamps are certainly good evidence along with the pictures you have, if the pictures are time/date stamped even better. If you still have your electronic plane tickets they would be good to submit.
Check your old emails...if that's how you received the e-ticket. ...then can print out again if needed.
No need to break into a sweat. Passport stamps, Photos and anything else you have to evidence visits are OK
It can be frustrating when you discover you should have kept old boarding passes and the like, as it's not the kind of stuff we always hang on to but can discover later that you should have! I printed off a few that I had on email when we applied, and had kept the more recent so could use them. It's the same with the second FLR, when you discover that you hould have hung on to 2 years wrth of correspondence instead of the most recent 6 months! Managed to hunt down enough old bills and so on though. One of the advantages of being sel-employed is that you tend to hang on to such stuff for the sake of accounts.
Absolutely. That's why it's so important for all new arrivals to the UK to keep planning for the next step no matter how far away and to keep abreast of immigration tweaks, twists and turns. One example is with residence requirements. Right up until you reach the Citizenship stage there are no restrictions on the number of days spent outside the UK. Then you read the Citizenship application form and realise that now there is a 3 years countback on year by year residence. Most folks don't get caught but it has happened.
Get into the habit of keeping every document and picture connected with your relationship...in several places. Also handy when you're abroad. I use 'dropbox'. ...a free online storage programme and app' . Make sure in that programme that you also tick the (important) docs/pictures/music/video to be available OFFLINE. You will then have all of those files available on phone, tablet or PC, wherever you are in the world.
