    Hi all,

An update on our progress.......I'm in Philippines at the moment, we went to UK Embassy in Manila, obtained free to marry paper, my fiancee passed the TB test too. We have applied for marriage license, went ok, promised for 23rd May.
We have booked marriage for 15th July.
Does my fiancee have to wait for until after the marriage and in receipt of Marriage Certificate before applying for Spouse Visa?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes she has to wait for the marriage certificate to apply and it takes a while. She might have taken the TB test too early. Remember it is only valid for 6 months.

Yes, I understand how slow the Filipina system is..haha.
We took TB because we were already in Manila, my fiancee lives in Davao. Just keeping fingers crossed

You will need to submit the marriage certificate, make sure it is NSO authenticated. We waited for about three months for ours to be returned.

Jasmin got our certificate about a week after the ceremony, then the NSO copy after about 4 weeks. She'd asked the lady at the court to 'expedite things' so I'd suggest you ask for speed and it may help ;)
