British teenagers are being forced to marry abroad and are raped and impregnated while the Home Office “turns a blind eye” by handing visas to their husbands,The Timeshas found.

Officials received dozens of reports last year that women wanted to block visas for men they had been made to marry in countries including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates. In almost half of their cases the visas were approved, records show.

Its almost like these girls are being sold as part of a visa package.

    Appalling

I do not disagree but these girls are not always naturalised, their parents are. I think that there should be a lower age limit of at least 21 sto start with. The other issue is the man coming over as the father of the child ( sometimes a result of rape ) also. This one is a bit trickier unless there is racial profiling.

Agreed, hence the need to tighten and continue to tighten the visa process application system.

I was reading about this earlier, clash of the cultures.

Do the foreign* chaps who raped their forced brides (who were flown out of the UK for that express purpose) have to pay NHS surcharge I wonder, or are they adopted straight into the benefits culture?

    * = (Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates).
