Starting March 24, I made an application online[IMG] and fiancee pay using his card. First, he's able to fill-up the card details but it was unsuccessful. We tried many times and I received an email "Your Visa Application Payment Confirmation Has Been Declined". He called his bank and now it's unblocked but when we tried to pay again, we can't find the fill-up form of card to make the payment. We have tried all day since yesterday but still nothing but a sore finger scrolling again & again. I already send email to UKVI and they told me their payment system was working fine. Bank is fine, UKVI is fine... I also tried changing[IMG] the visa centre & dates but still the same. Today when we tried to pay again, all we can see is "connecting World Pay " button then this "Secure Payment Page
Sorry, there was a problem processing your payment:
    Order problem
The information sent from the merchant's site[IMG] is invalid or incomplete...
    "
I really need some advice of what to do... Also, is it possible to make new application using the same account and leave the first one I made coz i'm unable to pay using that application? [IMG]Thank you in advance...

Myself and others here at British Filipino have experienced problems when trying to submit the visa payment online, I had to try many times until I eventually managed to get the payment through using my credit card. I know @Anne experienced a similar problem.

If I was you, I would make a new account on the VFS website and start again, perseverance is the key.

    Good luck with it :)

I feel you, qu33n26. I was having problems with the payment process until I found this forum. At first, I was using my BDO credit card--it was declined because the visa fee is beyond the credit limit. Only I found out through Timmers to have my then fiancé log in to my visa4uk account and have him pay for it (online) here in the UK. I can still remember how frustrated my loved one was for trying to make the payment go through. The payment confirmation was sent to my e-mail not his.

I'm guessing there would be problems if your loved one gives you the details of his card and try to pay for it in the Philippines. Did he mention it to the bank, that the transaction is to be made outside UK?

Does a World Pay or PayPal account not have to be set up for payment ?
Sure I read this on the VFS site

    Good to hear Howerd :)
On the subject of the online application how long will it remain active after you have set it up?
If we open it now will it still be active when we apply in October?

I filled in the form from the UK and paid using using a UK debit mastercard on a UK account, from the UK, and it had no problems. I don't know how long these online applications stay active. I'm not sure what advantage you're gaining by doing that. Why don't you just start a new application when you're ready and apply in a single day in October and have done with it?

When you start your application it tells you how long they stay active for. When you actually submit your application you must pay straightaway so it is best to be armed with a few credit/debit cards because of the 3d authentication problems some people have. Also you want to make sure that you have sufficient credit limit on any credit card or sufficient funds in any debit card account.

Some credit card providers allow you to add money to your account, over and above paying off the outstanding balance, some discourage it, whilst others actively prevent it.

Good to know. I have the debit MasterCard myself so assuming the same credit applies to me it's good back up.
In regards to completing the application in one day yes it's certainly one way, I just feel better knowing there's no wee surprises or potential hold ups so would like to be well prepared in advance.
But yes October will be early enough, even for me ;)

Welcome back to the forum qu33n26. No need for another test in here. We registered at the GP after my FLR has been granted.

No worries. Although some members here like @Timmers managed to register his wife before they applied for FLR. I guess it would depend on the clinic really.

Welcome to the best country in the world young lady :)

What was the reason they gave you for not being able to registry at your local GPs?

I registered my then Fiancée within weeks of her arriving in the UK without any problems, makes me wonder if different districts/counties in the UK have different rulings on registration although I would have thought that the NHS has just one ruling for all.

I'd be interested to know why they wouldn't let you register, interesting one.

Thank you Anne & Timmers...;) They first asked me if I'm settled here or if I'm married to my settled fiancee and said not yet. They told me to wait after I get married so I can register. I was only worried as I thought I need to submit TB test again. I was sick once and my fiancee tried to call diff. GP'S contact # they gave and they only send us a link on how to register.

BTW, I'm applying FLR m (premium service) end of this month or first week of Nov., will anyone please help me what's the first thing to do for the application. I just feel so drained(i mean my head) from organizing my wedding here this week and my coming wedding in Philippines next year. Honestly this time, I can't remember all the searches I did before and can't even concentrate by now.:(

Big thanks to you guys! :):like:

The first thing you need to do is familiarise yourself with the FLR(M) form below, in the form you will also find links to the NHS surcharge website where you can pay the surcharge to receive your IHS reference number. Applying at one of the premium UKVI centres in my experience is quite a relaxed affair, the application is more or less the same as your initial settlement visa application. One or two things are different only, for example proof of address in the UK and the requirement to produce your marriage certificate. Read through the form and come back with any questions should you find any difficulty with the form.

Good luck with the wedding :)
