Unbelievable!

    I can believe it but it's less about political-correctness and more about mindless adherence to the letter of the "rules" - in this case, the school's uniform code. Since the wrist-band would be hidden under a shirt cuff or jacket sleeve most of the time, one has to wonder if the school proscribes the style and colour of its pupils' underwear.

    Given that pupils have successfully sued schools and local education authorities with regard to the wearing of religious emblems and the right to wear head coverings on religious grounds, I can see this school and its asinine head teacher could be in for a bit of bother legal wise.

    In the late 60's/70's ? I first heard the expression "Job's worth" = It's more than my job is worth to let you do ?? such?.
    In UK to-day Rules RULE and being called a "Job's worth" is an accolade.!

    Please get me outa here.! ASAP
