UPDATE WE ARE MOVING OVERNIGHT ON SATURDAY 29th of AUGUST

    This is an update to our message last week on the thread IMPORTANT FORUM ANNOUNCEMENT PLEASE READ

    If you have not read the first post in this thread yet please do so now by clicking on the link above.

    The update, well our plan is to shut the forum down next Saturday the 29th of August at around 9pm UK time, that is 4am Philippine time.

    The forum will not come back up at it's old address, the old address will be gone, the old address may for a short time redirect to the new forum address but we don't know if this will be effective from the date of the move and it may be the case that you have to type the new address http://www.british-filipino.com explicitly and save the new URL in your bookmarks.

    The move will take in the region of 5 to 6 hours, some parts of the forum might be buggy after the move but we will be working to fix any bugs throughout the day on Sunday 30th of August.

    You should shortly receive an email summarising what we have explained here as we intend to email the entire community informing everyone of the move.

    Thanks for reading and we hope we don't lose anyone during the move.

    Why does it take so long, is it not a simple config change?

    We recently moved house. Not far, only about 300 metres.
    That photo reminds me of how we moved our own bahay kubo from the garden of one house to the garden of another.
    Great fun it was and we really enjoyed sitting together in at the new place enjoying a few bottles of ice cold San Mig and laughing at what we'd just done.

    Whenever anyone mentions moving that's my memory.
