VFS-Global Premium Lounge Service

    Hi, does anybody have any experience using this service?

    I just tried to email, vip.ukph@vfshelpline.com

    But it keeps coming back as email send failure.. doesnt seem to give a reason why though lol.

    Also, do you know when the PHP 1800 fees are payable? would it be on the day of the appointment? or do you have to go there before the appointment to pay?

    Hi RB2004,

    you will pay the 1800 fees on the day of the appointment itself. I have use this service when i lodged my application, it was worth it to pay this amount if you don't want to wait and be a part of the many applicants in there. You will have your own lounge here and a vfs staff will personally attend to you to check your documents :)) as for the email TRY TO email this person :MariaE@vfsglobal.com she is prompt to reply and i hope she will be able to attend to you as she did with me.

    this morning, I phoned this here,

    "Call our dedicated VIP premium lounge service phone number: (632) 501-3217.Our operating hours are from 08:00 to 17:00. Local phone charges apply. You will be asked for your passport number, name as it appears on your passport, your email ID, the visa category you are applying for and to select a date and time for your appointment."

    and they sent an email which required some information to be filled in.. I sent it back to "maceciliam@vfsglobal.com" as that was the address which the email was sent from.

    But it has been over 2 hours now and I have not heard anything back since yet, I am just waiting patiently lol for an email with an appointment.

    If i do not get a response quickly, I will email that persons email address you have provided :)

    On the email it said "within the day" you would get an appointment email.. I didn't get anything, phoned them 10 minutes before closing and they found the email and told me that it says on the email within the day... And still wouldn't do the appointment over the phone, it is now 4 hours into day 2 and over 24 hours and still no appointment, tried to email that other person and they did not even bother to reply.

    I don't want to keep chasing them because experience I've had before with these kind of people is that they will spite u and put u at the back of the line.

    Just dunno what to do, all I want is an appointment, and they said when I get one it will be after 2 days of recieving the booking, which if much later will now be next week, which means 1 week wasted.

    I know they are busy, but how long does it take them to look at the computer screen for an appointment, it has been over 24 hours now :( and I'm desperately trying to get everything in well before the July 9th rule. Change as it could be the difference between a visa or not.. And their slow service is not helping things.

    am not sure with what is going on with them as well, but when i book my appoinment one day before my desired date to submit my application, they have responded on the same day, try to give it another few days and if still to no avail, try to email that person i have sent you and write them a good letter saying the situation and that this time you wish to be attended to or at least be given a reason why it has took them so long to get back to you. Its just a matter of approach to them and am sure they will understand.

    OR BETTER CALL THEM HERE :

    Call centre: You can contact the VFS call centre and make your appointment - for PLDT / Smart Subscribers 1-909-885-VISA (8472); for Bayantel 1-903-VISAUK or 1-903-847285. PHP 32.00 for each minute for landline calls (excluding VAT and applicable NDD charges for calls made outside Metro Manila).

    Hopefully all has been sorted now.

    Rather stupidly, it seems the problem was with their email!

    some emails seem to be going out to people but others arent, they tried to say it was my internet service provider.. but I gave them 3 gmail addresses to try and a hotmail address.. which are all online email accounts.

    First booking they said they sent on the 20th, which we didnt recieve.. then when I phoned back on the 21st, nobody mentioned that and instead they setup a new booking to which I didnt recieve the confirmation again.

    So appears to be some problem with them sending out, i recieved a reply from them if I send an email first.. but if they send a clean email to me it doesnt seem to work.. hmm Maybe its some kind of junk filter their email server has in place to stop spam from online email accounts like gmail and hotmail set a little too strict?

    so turned out she has an appointment now for 11:30am today but because we didnt recieve the confirmation we didnt know so she is rushing to go there now.

    Sorry for the rant, just frustrating when you hear nothing and seemingly get lied to... especially when theres a ticking clock to these new changes coming out on july 9th.

    That is FINDING an excuse for a fault:)) i will rant myself if i face such instance. Am sure she will be accommodated there as there are few who use the VIP lounge ( am not sure nowadays though) i had the same PRESSURE when i heard of that NEW CHANGES. from APRIL now to JULY!! I understand how it feels just calm down maybe that RULES will not come into effect again on july 9th :) ( I HOPE NOT!)
