I'm guessing people use the office that is the most convenient to travel to, they both provide exactly the same service. I think it costs £55 extra which you pay online to use the visa service there.
Yeah just what I was thinking. I thought only office was manilla so was surprised to find they have office in Cebu. That would certainly be closer to submit the documents.
https://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/philippines/applicationcentre.html They also have a CFO office there where your missus can attend the seminar and get the sticker once the visa is granted; http://www.cfo.gov.ph/9-announcemen...gn-nationals-or-former-filipino-citizens.html
Your missus will however have to go to Manila for the TB Test, that's the only place in the Philippines the UKVI use https://www.gov.uk/government/publi...pines/tuberculosis-testing-in-the-philippines
@Brom27 has tried VFS Cebu. I've tried VFS Manila. I think it's up to your preference and whichever is closer. However, I'm from Davao City (Mindanao) but I chose to submit my docs in VFS Manila. I thought to have a "mini vacation" from all the stress from my office work and doing the visa application.
Thanks again. Yeah she will go there for the ielts test and TB test. She will use it as mini vacation to see some friends and relatives and expect do a "spot" of shopping
Thanks @tipipay, I didn't realise he had used Cebu office. But I like your idea on the reason for trip to manilla. Maybe she will think the same
Yes I used VFS Cebu and CFO Cebu, main reason being, I wanted to avoid Manila as much as possible, it's a rough place for me. I want to avoid the taxi drivers. I feel safe in Cebu even if I'm alone. VFS Cebu is better for her since she is in Mindanao, cheaper plane ticket and safer plus the staff there are very friendly and many available appointments. Loads of good place to go around Cebu actually if she wants to go around.
