I've just been looking, but can't see one anywhere! So changed my post to say "I'm pretty sure". I'll keep looking. I know I submitted photos of myself and definitely had to for FLR.
i can understand the photos of the applicant --lol--but ive never seen the requirement for sponsors photos. what would they do with them ?
Can't see any mention of sponsor's photos on the fiancee visa notes here: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploa...ment_data/file/270197/sup-docs-settlement.pdf The FLR forms are a lot clearer to follow and have the information fully laid out for you to follow. The guidance notes for that ask for Sponsor's photos. See section 6: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploa...a/file/477876/FLR_M__guidance_notes_11-15.pdf Maybe someone else will have better knowledge than me for fiancee visa, although I submitted photos of myself as instructed by the agency I used when applying for one.
I've looked through my original application and the instructions from the agency I used, and saw no mention of sponsor's photos there either. Maybe I was getting confused as we have done two FLR applications and had to include sponsor pictures with those. So maye I didn't include my own photos with the fiancee visa applcation after all! Maybe someone else who has done a recent fiancee visa application can confirm??
I did not. Here is the thread covering the marriage settlement visa (best not to call it a fiancée visa as that term is not used in any official papers - something that tripped us up when we submitted the application) that K and I obtained: http://www.british-filipino.com/ind...ents-supporting-kayes-visa-application.10673/
AFAIK there's is no specified requirement to submit photo's of the sponsor If anyone knows better then post up the UKVI link AFAIK there's no specified requirement to have the passport copies of the sponsor certified. If anyone knows better then post up the UKVI link UK Gov guidance on getting any document certified is here:- https://www.gov.uk/certifying-a-document
When the website asks 'how long do you intend to stay' what is the right answer? I understand that a marriage visa is for 6 months, but we need it for 2 years at least (although I expect my fiance will be going back to see her family during that time) - honesty is the best policy right?
I booked my wife lifeskills test on the britishcouncil website, you have 30 minutes to complete it and pay for it, so had my wife on skype so could ask her questions to fill it in.
@gary M, I took Lifeskills A1 last August in IDP Manila. It's very basic English. Your fiancé and other applicant going to have a conversation for 2 mins. If I remember correctly they asked my name, what's the weather like where I live, who is my best friend and where she lives and we communicate with each other. Then we go for listening there are two question from that. It's about a restaurant and what time it is busy. Then they play a tape, during the playback they stop and ask you questions about the conversation taking place to see if you are following the conversation correctly. The last part is the two or 3 mins conversation with the other test taker. One of them should start the conversation and give each time to ask and talk.
Thanks Lyn for that, do you mind if i copy and paste it for my wife to see, so she has idea what to expect.
