May i know the timeline for your visa application if you do not mind? Did you opt for the priority service or the standard service?

We applied standard service March 15 at VFS Manila , Got the dispatch text May 17 and passport delivered the following day !

Really pleased for you...Im hoping and praying we here soon. We applied 7th April and paid priority and no word yet... I think its really bad they are quite happy to relieve people of another £500+ for priority if they have no intension of honoring it....into the 9th week now!!!

@mistermatty what was the start date on the visa? Was it the date you stated when you made your application

We put a travel date of June 1 ...we are going next week to collect her .

Real poor show £500 is a lot of money these days .

Cheers for all the best wishes....weare currently waiting in Doha waiting to board our Qatar airways flight to London....gettin the little princess CFO was a breeze and Manila immigration was painless and just to confirm children pay reduced rate ref travel tax.

Good stuff Matty - flew via Doha in January / February - longest terminal building I'd ever been in. Found the "quiet" room (officially "male only" but females used it too.)
