Hi guys! I'm new here and just want to ask some questions regarding money in savings acount. From gov.uk tier 2 general visa requirement: bank statements showing you’ve had at least £945 in savings continuously over the last 90 days, or your sponsor’s certification that they can support and accommodate you for the first month you’re employed I will start my visa application soon but the money I have is not yet 90 days. Does it matter? Thanks in advance for the help, guys!
Hi John! Thanks for the reply. Do you think they will consider? Because I only received my job offer 2 months ago didn't know about any of this.
Based on other types of visa, I suspect they would be pretty rigid about this. Can you not get said requested certification from the employer?
Thanks! I have the certificate here with me and my employer falls under the category of A-rated - meaning I won't really need the 945 sterling based from this: But I am confused because both 945 sterling from savings and the certificate are listed as requirements.
2. Eligibility You must have all of the following to be eligible for a Tier 2 (General) visa: certificate of sponsorship reference number an ‘appropriate’ salary meet the English requirement £945 in savings - this is to prove you can support yourself and you must have had this in your bank account for 90 days before you apply You don’t need to have £945 in savings if your sponsor is fully approved (‘A-rated) and they have stated on your certificate of sponsorship that you won’t claim benefits during your stay. https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-general/eligibility
