I applied for a settlement spouse/CP visa last 13 March 2012. I have not heard from them yet! It's now the 7th week of waiting. 90% of applications are decided after 8 weeks!

I would really HATE to be part of that 10% that takes longer than 2 months!

Can anybody who applied in 2013 share their timeline??

    No replies? :(

It's going to be 60 days on 13 May since I've applied for a civil partner visa (I applied last 13 March). When should I expect to hear from them? I'm getting worried.

Can anybody who applied recently share their timeline?

Have a look on the UKBA website. They give out stats on this.

It took us two weeks. A friend of ours took only one day. And for many it has been in the region of 2 or 3 months. It just depends and there is no way of forecasting.

The UKBA do issue processing times:

    Settlement Visas
    10 days : 1%
    15 days : 1%
    40 days : 23%
    60 days : 91%
    90 days : 100%

These are for the Philippines in March 2013 and are working days so 23% were processed in 40 working days i.e. 8 weeks.

Processing times are pretty standard these days, it is the appeals and stuff that clog the system up.

Is there a way to set up an appointment with the embassy and get a decision the same day?

I'm afraid there's no quicker way for that! :)
Only if you are on process of your ILR, you can get it the same day if you book for an appointment, rather than posting your application. :like:
