Visa processing times for settlement applications (May 2017)

    Not great is it, 87% take between one and two months, or maybe that is just the current lag and next month that percentage might be higher!

    Manila is also one of the worse along with Islamabad and Delhi. I think they don't have enough workers as these countries also has many people applying. I wonder if anyone applying with priority have actually got it in the time frame they advertise.

    It can only be about resources - whether in the Embassy or Sheffield.

    From reading other messages it also looks like VFS are underperforming.

    100% in 60 days--?? i would expect to see a different figure next time.

    I paid for priority and I'm nearing 60 days. Honestly I'm doubtful these already low numbers are even true. Their own staff said it takes Sheffield at least a month to process settlement applications. I'd be happy to see proof, but until then I have reason to believe these numbers are just pulled out of thin air. After all, 0% would attract a deluge of complaints and refundees.

    May 2, 2017: Application submitted online
    May 3: Biometrics at VFS Manila
    May 3: Application shipped
    May 10: Application arrived in Sheffield
    Jun: Waiting impatiently

    can i ask--did you get married on a marriage visit visa ?
