That appears to be a form so that employers/academic institutions can register as sponsors for tiered applicants. I know of no requirement for your boyfriend to 'register' as your sponsor. I think it just requires a letter from him. Visa applications to visit your boyfriend/fiancee and even Spousal and Fiancee applications are non-tiered, so I think you can safely ignore the form.
I think you really need to show you adhered to visa requirements by enclosing any old passports you have used previously. Of course, your sponsor can draw attention to the fact that you have been to other countries and adhered to Visa requirements but that in itself is no proof that you have. I have made it very clear to my lady friend that she needs to keep her old passport, even though she does not seem to convinced by what I say!
I think the CFO sitcker is only for emmigration purposes, so if you have a visit visa AND a CFO sticker I think the UKBA might be a little suspicious of your true motives!
Your right Howerd Im just aware of some problems with Pinoys exiting on tourist visas plus of course its acomplete lottery on the Brit side exit stamps on your passport are a plus though
hello again I will be submitting my requirements very soon. But I am quite confused on how am I going to present it like do I need to put all the docs in a short or long brown folder or on a clear book or on a brown short/long envelope? :help:
you dont need that folders Yuna the Embassy has its own folder for all the paperwork that you are going to submitt but stillo you can bring that of course to make sure all the stuff you need is in order...yet anyway twehn you actually submmit it they wont take your folder all they want is your supporting documents to support your appilication any way Yuna best of goodluck :grouphug:
i put them in the order as stated in the checklist.. what i did was clipped them together by categories e.g. financial evidence, evidence of relationship, etc..
Best way. yuna, just make it as easy as possible for the administration. As Balot has said, the most important is to have all the required supporting documents to be compliant. If it's presented in too complex a way, it causes confusions and potential mistakes... which you don't need. Keep it simple.
Good luck to your application Ate Yuna! Let us know what happened!! Me and Paul is correctly working out which route to go To apply for a fiance visa or him going back here again and have a ceremony over here
Good luck to your application Ate Yuna! Let us know what happens with it! Right now, me and Paul is discussing which would be our next plan..that might be me applying for the fiance visa or he will have to visit me here again then have a civil wedding ceremony here Again, wishing you all the best!
I got this checklist last Sept of 2010 directly at the website of UKBA. I am trying to find that on their website as maybe they have revised it but I cant seem to find that file/checklist ... do you guys think that the requirements listed on the 2010 checklist is still the same for 2012?
I think the nearest thing they have to a checklist now is this: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/out-of-country/visitors.pdf Which states: "It is not a list of documents that you must submit. We do not expect you to provide all of the documents listed below, it is for you to decide which documents are most relevant to your application" So there is no checklist anymore, as such, just guidance on which documents might satisfy the ECO. I'm really interested in seeing what result you get with this. Me and mahal ko are going down the same route and she has similar circumstances to you. She has visited Singapore and Hong Kong and she works full time but has very little savings and no land. I figure this is a decent time to apply for such a visa though. I can't imagine there are many visitors from anywhere disappearing in the UK in recent times - especially on the basis of trying to work in the black market or whatever. These people are now desperately trying to find a way to go home because there is no work for them. You probably have better prospects if you're legal. Ireland is seeing another great exodus of people but they're not coming to the UK, they're going to Australia and Canada.
that's what I also got... maybe a visit from the VSF UK Visa Application Center here in Makati will clear that out... I planned to visit the center some weeks ago, but got postponed due to work... my bf's docs might be delivered here at the house really really soon (as the docs is already here in the Phils) so will definitely visit the center this week... well, as what they said, visit visa is really complex and quite difficult to attain, but we'll give it a try anyways
I got the new checklist I got Tommy's docs and all of them are now photocopied. So Tommy's docs are all prepared. Mine, well I am still putting some money on my account. If what I have on the account is enough then I will ask for a bank certificate and that's it. But I have a concern regarding the employment certificate. It says on the list that I need a '.... certificate of employment stating your position, salary and number of leave days given for the trip with specified dates.'. I have the employment certificate but it didnt have any info of my salary and the number of leave days as I don't have leaves, I mean If will be gone for a long time, I can leave and come back at work anytime as long as there is a substitute teacher for my students... So I am quite worried about my employment cert... what do you guys think? Do I need to replace the employment cert that I have now?
A covering letter from your employer should be enough to cover this, if they state that you are taking unpaid leave and your job will be open for you when you return.
My employment cert states that I will be welcomed back again as their Violin Teacher once I came back from UK but it didn't says that I am taking an unpaid leave I think I need to request another cert, have it edited and include the leave info...
