The annulment process is just a messy, expensive and time consuming business we can do without, I think we both agree on that in hindsight.

I was lucky in the respect that we had no immediate plans to get together in the UK for a few years thus giving us plenty of time to get the annulment done and dusted without any constraints on the time scale.

OK Anullment hearing was today, all went well as far as I can tell and from what the Attorney tells us. We get a final decision in March. (fingers crossed)

Now for my master plan in getting her a vis visa.

So I will start the process again online and arrange a date and pay the fee.

From my side everything seems straightforward 6 months wages slips, 6 months bank statements, copy of savings account too.

As these are all online printouts (even my wage slips) does anyone see a problem with this ? I can outline this in my invitation / covering letter I suppose?

I will include an itinery of things we are doing on her visit.

Copy of my passport including scans of dates I have visited Phils

    Some photographs off us together

I now fully understand that the onus is on my girl to show that she intends to return to Phils and not overstay.

She is not working but I am supporting her and paying monies into her bank acc monthly.

So she can show bank statements

I have invested some money in a rental agreement for two plots off land for growing Papaya, both of these land lease contracts are in my Girls name.

She is managing the workers and the buying off materials, her Father will cover this in her absence. (the whole family are Papaya farmers)

Also we are setting up a deal with the Dole company who will buy the Papaya when its harvested.

My girl will have a letter from Dole inviting her to a meeting sometime in May/June to discuss this.

I will be attending this meeting with her so will be flying to Phils with her or at a later date.

Her passport now shows that we have holidayed in Thailand and Singapore and both time she has left the country on time.

All these things I will include in my covering letter and copies off said documents.

    Any ideas, suggestions, anyone ????

I have no experience with visitor visas but from dealing with a marriage settlement visa I think you need a certified copy of your Passport and either original pay slips and original bank statements or copies certified by your Bank and your employer. A call on DHL is in your future...

    DJB,

So would she be claiming self-employed or business owner ?

She'd need to consider including business registration documents with the owner’s name and the date the business started trading.
She could include her DTI, BIR, or Mayor’s permit registration.
But there'd need to be something.

As said before, she must present a viable case for no-immigration intent that is adequate for the caseworker on the basis of probability

Just wanted to say that plenty of self-employed / business owner people work from home.
I'd suggest a more detailed description in a covering letter and/or in 'other information'

Don't forget there's no interview with the Embassy/UKVI
So it all comes down to the presentation of the key info for intention to visit and return home to the Philippines.

Had a good look at my GF's last vis visa refusal and the reasons for refusal.

I have to to say that the paragraph from the ECO is a terrible use of the English language, talk about double dutch, its obviously a paragraph they just cut n paste without giving it a personal touch.

I had to read it 3 times for it to make sense, god knows what a Fillipino makes off it.

In common with almost all Civil Service depts there are 'standard templates' to be followed.

Ok dokey, I have started a covering letter for the ECO could I have your thoughts please ??

    To The Entry Clearance Officer
    Manila

    Dear Sir/Madam
Thank you for taking the time to view my Girlfriends UK Visitor Visa application.

We have been a couple now for almost 2 years having met online while Kristine was working as a Nanny in Dubai. Since then I have visited the Philipines twice (item 1 passport stamps and airline tickets) On these occasions I have met Kristine and her family. (see photographs) We have also visited Thailand and Singapore together (item 2 passport stamps and airline tickets) On no occasion did Kristine overstay the visa requirements for either Singapore or Thailand (See Kristines passport entry/exit stamps)

With your kind permission, I would like to invite her to the UK for a period off 2 -3 weeks to meet my family and friends and show her some of the sights off the UK. (See itinerary)

I am sponsoring her visit and you can see from my Bank Accounts I have sufficient funds to do this. (see bank statements)
She will also be staying with me at my 2 bedroom park home in Cheshire. (see utility bills etc)

Kristine is not currently working but has a bank account and savings so she could support herself while here in the UK and also so she can buy presents and gifts from the UK to take home with her. (See Kristines Bank Statement)

We are currently in the process off setting up a papaya farming business and we have leased 2 hectares of land in her home village (see lease agreements) Kristine is managing this business as papaya farming is her family business. As so she will be self employed.

The Dole fruit company have set up a contract/meeting for Kristine in May 2016 to discuss purchasing our first crop. (see letter)

Also as Kristine is separated from her Husband, there is currently a Marriage Anulment going through the courts and she has to be back in the Philipines to attend court and give evidence and statements during 2016. (see letter from Kristines Attorney)

The dates we have chosen are the only time we can meet with everything that is happening as Kristine has an 11 year old Daughter that she tends to and takes to school daily. Kristines mother has agreed to do this while she is in the UK.

I will be meeting Kristine at Manchester airport when she arrives and will be personally putting her back on the plane at the end of her visit.

    Yours sincerely

Good ... bad... any changes or additions ????

I would delete the part saying Kristine is not currently working

Kristine has a bank account and savings so she could support herself while here in the UK and also so she can buy presents and gifts from the UK to take home with her. (See Kristines Bank Statement)

Only a suggestion.. See what the others would say. Good luck with the application.

I agree. She may not have a full time employment with a company but she is currently managing the farm and I would qualify that as working, maybe not just how UKVI defines it.

I agree with Dave and Asia. Delete the 'currently not working' statement.
The content about her daughter is probably more important than the future prospects of the farm. IMHO
Future prospects don't weigh so heavily as current ties and responsibilities.
Anyways, finger crossed here for a positive outcome.
    Good luck

Good luck, the visitor visa is a shorter wait than the settlement visa - only up to 15 days waiting period. My previous visit visas took 10 and 7 days. :)
