For those of you who get your wage slips in the next few days, please note that NI Contributions are not Northern Ireland contributions, but National Insurance Contributions. Contributions to Northern Ireland will be coming from your income tax. Glad to be of service.

That is unnecessarily inflammatory. Northern Ireland is a constituent part of our country just as is England, Wales and Scotland. Perhaps you'd care to issue similar health warnings about the block grants given to Scotland and Wales.

I'll retract it if the Government extends their benevolence to the economically deprived areas of South Wales or Glasgow

I suggest you talk to Carwyn Jones and Nicola Sturgeon then and tell them where they should be spending their money.

I think they are talking to the Government to ask for a similar boost in spending power to that secured by the DUP for NI.

Who knows, a couple of defections and a couple of lost MPs could see the Tories trying to buy your Plaid Cymru votes.
