My wife's settlement Visa was approved a few days ago in the Philippines. It has been very stressful and the relief of the Big fat yes was overwhelming. My visa application wasn't straight forward as i was unsure whether to choose category A or B as I had been relocated in my employment and given a new employment contract so i opted to submit a year worth of payslips and bank statements. I want to thank this site and the people who gave me advice and also for the people who take the time to answer questions, I literally scrolled through posts and posts making notes, trying to understand the process . I've just booked the flight with Philippine airlines and she should be in the UK beginning of Sept ( fingers crossed)..we have been to the cfo seminar a few years backs when we changed my wifes passport into out married name and we just have to go back for the sticker.. thanks again guys , now I'm getting ready for the next stage of the visa process... Wow, good news indeed, congratulations on completed mission; very heartening to those about to start same process. Well done!
Congratulations! We're supposed to be getting married in Singapore in September (unlikely at the moment). Then we are applying, I figured there will be delays for a long time yet.
That's awesome news Charlie! Really happy for you as that re-location came at a horrible time for you. You can finally focus on enjoying life again and to an exciting future
