Have a few romantic songs that mean something to the both of you, you've known him all your life so maybe something from the past in the Philippines. Funny, when you hear some songs they remind you of certain points in your life, good or bad. By the way, will you both be getting married in traditional Philippines dress? My lady was going to bring me one of those shirts the groom wears from the Philippines but I didn't go for it
I have a few songs here but I want to have more options. No. I will be wearing a simple white dress and my man will be donning his tux. Will be saving those attire in our church wedding after I'm granted ILR/citizenship.
Hi Anne, when we had our spiritual wedding, i march in with "SHE" (Nottinghill theme song) but during the vow, my bestfriend sang "Household of faith" and YOU by Karen Carpenters..looking forward to our Scottish wedding soon, with the Pud piper and Ae Fond kiss . song.I am very excited for you, when would it be? and congratulations again
As you will have travelled overseas to your wedding, this little ditty from Emerson, Lake and Palmer might be appropriate: Show me the way to go home I'm tired and I want to go to bed I had a little drink about an hour ago And it’s gone right to my head Everywhere I roam Over land or sea or foam You can always hear me singing this song Said show me the way to go home. Show me the way to go home I'm tired and I want to go to bed I had a little drink about an hour ago And it’s gone right to my head Everywhere that I roam Over land or sea or foam You can always hear me singing this song Show me the way to go home. Show me, show me Show me the road I leach home Show me, show me Show me the way to go home. Everywhere that I roam Over land or sea or foam You can always hear me singing this song Said show me, show me the way, to go home. (Joke lang!)
That's Barong Tagalog, and my future hubby wants ti wear that for our wedding, would be a Scottish-Filipino theme, him wearing Pinoy and me a Scot's dress lol, what a combi!
I hope his Barong is one of the more expensive ones tailored using cotton material rather than the more common - and considerably cheaper - ones made from pineapple fibre which, in my experience, are somewhat uncomfortable to wear.
We have one very good tailoring shop here, and for sure i would be getting the best for him.Jusi or Pina is best, so long it is the finer quality. The ones sold at a department store that cost about 20k, i can only get it done at 8k, that's a Scottish price hahaha.( that's my fiance would joke me about)
