It was intended as a joke, nothing serious in it. I do agree that child abuse is an abomination, but one has to understand that there may be occasions when a sharp slap on the leg or bum could be required as last resort. Life is not always as pretty as painted, how can one respect laws and discipline if all one gets as punishment for wrongdoing is the confiscation of a toy.
