What’s is the best company for a Balikbayan box?

    Hi, well it looks like we have been successful in gaining a spousal visa. So it’s time for the wife to join me in the UK, so, instead of paying a obscene amount to an airline for additional baggage allowance. Has anyone sent over a Balikbayan Box and if so who did you use and approx costs? Thanks in advance

    As best I know they only work from a foreign country to the Philippines not the other way round, if they do it would be good to know.

    Try the EMS service of Philpost, they will deliver to your door but could be subject to UK tax/customs. From what I remember, fee is about P2250 for the first 3kg and P650 per kg in excess, not cheap tbh. It takes about 10 working days for the box to arrive (pre-covid).
