I take my hat off to David Cameron today,....:like:

I knew the guy was clever, but I didn't realize that political chess playing was one of his past-times.....:erm:

He took the Lib-Dem in tow, with the express intention of destroying them once and for all....

He used them as human shield.......
To take all the flak with unpopular decisions, and the gamble seems to have worked.

For all his smarts, Nick Clegg fell for it hook, line and sinker...

Now, after the bad Council election results, lets hope that this dreaded AV referendum goes the right way....
    One man, one vote.

For all that people think Brown was an idiot, I think that he knew that whatever came out of a coalition was going to be so unpopular that whoever formed it would get punished.

The Lib-Dems may well be crushed but Cameron needs them and they may well bite back and punish him with a new election which will likely narrow the margin between Labour and the Conservatives although I think at this time it's too early for Labour I doubt they want an election any time soon as it might just land them with having to manage the mess on a very very small majority or the Tories might just have to struggle on as a minority government.

Oh, I think Nick Clegg got sold the poison chalice when he became deputy Prime Minister to David Cameron.. Plus, he chose AV instead of proportional representation :erm:
