Ah. Was trying to fathom it out. Well, unfortunately I can't help you with this one. Our daughter was born here in the UK. Hopefully someone else will know the answer....

You won't be able to do that as she wasn't born in the UK. You can, however, register her birth with the British Embassy in Manila and this is better done sooner than later.

In addition to her NSO Birth Certificate, you will require the following documents - and for submission purposes, all documents must be photocopied and the original produced:
    • Your marriage certificate
    • The details page of your wife's Passport
    • The details page of your Passport and in addition, the Visa Stamp pages proving that you were in the Philippines at the time your daughter was conceived
    • Photographs showing you and your wife together at around the time of conception, during the pregnancy, at the time of birth and as a family group. If your daughter has already been baptised, then a family group photo with the celebrant priest also.
    • Your wife's pregnancy records - which she may need to obtain from her OB/Gynae and/or the hospital. These should include copies of her scans.

    (The above is from memory).

As you are back in the UK, it would be somewhat difficult for you to attend the Embassy. Your wife can do this herself though provided she has a notarised letter of authority signed by you.
