I'm hoping that in about two weeks I will have all my paperwork together, my gf has passed her English test and I believe the cenama, So what do we need to do next and in what order would you suggest? Just wandering also when do you book a flight ? After we / if we get the visa?
Yes, definitely book the flight after the visa is awarded. You cannot predict exactly when it will be issued for. Also, there will need to be a visit to the CFO after the visa is awarded and before flying to the UK. Once my wife had passed her English Test we started to gather all of the evidence. In your case the TB test is also a prerequisite. ( not a requirement for my wife as it is only in the last couple of years that it has been a requirement )
Bearing in mind there was no TB test required for us. We then completed the online application form, once all of the paperwork was gathered. That was pretty closely followed by booking the appointment for submission, with VFS and payment. The method at this point has changed a bit since 2011 but basically remains very similar. You will need to build in time, of course, to post (by DHL or equivalent) your paperwork that will form part of the submission, to your gf.
Evidently the TB test can be a faff. So you will need to get that organised, before submission of the visa application.
