I'm just sorting our my wife's spouse visa. Putting it in this topic cos it's not literally related to anything important. My real name is similar to my FB name. But kind of different. Obviously I'm trying to explain that but I'm looking for the right word to describe what it is. Example (fake names) Real name: Benjamin Lucas Santa FB name: ßenjï Lúcass Santa Words I've found are Nickname Diminutive name form Hypocorism name But none of them quite fit cos I can't really say Lúcass is a nickname when it's just the same as Lucas. I know, I'm overthinking it abit here haha. Thankyou all.
Screen name. Online handle. Forum name. Bigmac's suggestion of 'pseudonym' and Mattecube's 'alias' are very good maybe add 'Online alias' or 'Online pseudonym' just to make it clear.
