Last week we had terrible scenes of religious bigots yelling abuse at the memory of dead soldiers, and wishing the live ones to burn in hell, during the two minute silence of Armistice Day....
As far as I know, and may be wrong, no one got arrested.

    Today in the news....

Even if the circumstances are different doesn't it amount to the same crime...?

Not really.. This was more likely just some imature girl who knew no better and has not been brought up to respect the history of people who are very much alive and a part of this country. In other words, she is a chav!

The people who broke the minutes of silence last week don't just disrespect our armed forces, they openly pray and wish swift deaths for the men and women in our armed forces today. Huge difference in the intent and meaning of their actions, and so must be taken into consideration.
