Hi everyone - I'm Jeremy. So why is my username 'Notsot'? It's a made-up word. It was made up by one of my daughters, when she was about three years old. If she was 'baking' (using any random ingredients she could find - grass, mud, leaves, etc), she would proudly present her 'Notsots' for us to sample. It is such a cute word, I think it deserves to live on - even though she's now grown up and married.... I have joined the community, because over the past year or so, I have got to know some of the British Filipino community in Scotland quite well, due to a business association I have with them in Usana. I have been impressed with and have great respect for the wonderful community spirit that exists amongst Filipinos I have met, as well as their respect for God. I also hope to visit the Philippines soon on business, and so I thought this would be a good place to further understand Filipino issues and culture. I might also pick up some travel tips! Great to be here!
