wife refusal

    Common sense and the UKVI do not go together I'm afraid.

    It would stretch their resources chasing people up, they much prefer to decline the visa on application, less hassle for them that way, a very sad and unfair situation in my view.

    There was a BBC article not long back that stated that more UK visit visas are being granted to Philippine passport holders. They are genuine tourists who have an itinerary and hotel bookings and the like. The single/married Filipina coming to visit their loved one in the UK will not fit into the afore mentioned category and will immediately arouse the UKVI suspicions about overstaying, I imagine these applications are dealt with in a different way as the red flags will already be flying at the UKVI office.

    If I had my time over and my wife was applying for a visa from Dubai where she was refused at the time I would tell her to book a package to the UK leaving me out of the picture, by the time you have had your first visa declined then it is too late to try anything like this of course.
