Is your wife submitting any documents at VFS or have you submitted them all to Sheffield?

I got all my Documents back saying they were scanned.

only things being taken to vfs are--
his printed off application ( i sent a copy to sheffield anyway )
    his TB cert
his passport................( photo copy sent to sheffield )
his birth certificate. ....( ditto )

a letter from his father saying he doesnt support his child because he cannot work--and that his mother solely supports him. his consent to the boy coming to the UK to be with his mother.

there isnt much sent to sheffield with a childs application: i am the sponsor:-

checklist of documents included in the bundle.
appendix 2 filled in by me ( a lot of empty answer spaces )
form su07/12 filled in by me.

bumf about my house--solicitors letter confirming purchase, land registry, surveyors report.
copy of my passport---and his mothers .

my last 6 bank statements ( using savings )
solicitors letter showing source of savings plus bank statement.

letter from his mother to ukvi stating she supports him.
his mothers bank statements with monthly remits to her family highlighted.

    plus what i mentioned above.

if i have missed something important--lets hope ukvi get back to me. but i'm not losing sleep over it.

Yeah I was surprised, they seem to indicate if they need anything further they will contact me via email

I would get your wife to scan his TB Certificate also and send that to Sheffield also @bigmac just to cover it if you get told the same as we did.
