Will Skilled Worker Visa scheme impact other visas?

    I read an article linked below that we have now twice overshot the skilled worker visa limit and am concerned that this will influence decisions on other visas such as fianceee and settlement.

    The latest immigration figures so net migration from the EU falling ( not negative though ) but net migration from non EU has risen again.

    anything is possible--goverments are very adept at moving goal posts. we just have to try and keep up with the game.
    i'm surprised they claim net migration from non-EU is rising--given the fact that visa app delays have doubled in length since my fiancee got hers 2 years ago.

    Maybe one is a function of the other. So much focus on Tier 2 visas that other visa types get deprioritised

    The Visas are for skilled workers with an income threshold nothing to do with "Spouse Visas " which arnt capped
