Hey, Balot, that's enough of that thinking. You should always be yourself and you should never try to be someone or something that just not you. The posts you make here on this forum show a passion, intelligence and a great sense of humour. If one person says you are boring, it doesn't make it true about you. It just means that for that one person, you may need to try something different. Whatever you create for one person might seem boring for them, but for other people the very same thing might be fascinating. I think you're just going thru a 'bad patch' It's hard work being a housewife and mother, especially if you are maybe homesick and/or if you have limited access to fellow countrywomen. I really understand. Please take care of yourself. I fully understand, I spent 33 years travelling around the world always alone. No one to share. When you first live somewhere new it's really difficult to make contact with like minded people, really difficult to find someone to talk with and share life. But the world is not so hostile, you can find friends over time then settle a little. Wish I was closer to your area, but I'm so far .... I will speak with my wife again tonight to make contact. Balot, you should hook up with Peter's wife if for nothing than a phone call. The whole reason for this website is for support and nobody needs it more than Filipinas who are new to the UK who know nobody and need to meet fellow Pinays for chit chats like they did back home. I mean, I set this site up after the exodus from Filipino UK when it became clear that Filipino women on that site were being disrespected by the admin (amongst others) and a few others on there who view their wives as little more than Her indoors And can be noted by the way the refer to Pinays in a group (the Pinay gossip machine). And also, when Joy joins me here in the UK, I will want her to meet up with fellow Filipinas as I know she is going to miss her lifestyle where she will spend nights at a Karaoke with the girls, or a trip to the waterfalls with her cousins... And I don't want her stuck in the house reliant on me alone when she does get here... Hence the need to socialise.. And this forum is simply another form of social media (like Facebook). So, join groups, join forums and get emails and phone numbers. Hook up with local women and go shopping and whatever you like to do with your time.
