This is a new series of programs presented by Professor Brian Cox.
In this series he explains very clearly and simply how the most fundamental scientific principles and laws explain not only the story of the universe, but also the story of us all.

I have personally found the progam to be absolutely wonderful, exciting and intriguing.
Also very easy to understand as Brian Cox puts thing over in a very simple and engaging way.

The universe, life and everything is all about birth, death and rebirth.

We are children of the stars. Made of the stuff of the universe.

Every single thing on this planet, living or inanimate. The planet itself. Every single piece of You and me of all of us.
Was forged in the furnaces of space. From stardust.

Yep from Hydrogen fusing to Helium to lithium and all the way up to Iron, all the gold platinum and heavier stuff was born at the moment that stars big enough to explode did so in a Supernova explosion.

    Wonderful stuff :D

All my life, I studied Physics and Astronomy at Glasgow University back in the late 70's :D

I am fond of these sort of programs as they are good at putting across the latest idea's but I've not seen this series.
