Sorry to hear about your visa issues Rob, what should be a happy event for you and arrival of new addition has turned into more stress. Hope it all works out for you.

I'm on day 40 now and like you am so angry with UKVI. I wrote to my MP this week in regards to the delays, UKVI replied to him stating they have 20 working days to reply to the MP's enquiry. So they have a month just to reply to an email.... unbelievable. I complained about VFS stating timelines on processing for priority and if there is such a backlog surely there should be a suspension on selling priority at the least until it is cleared, but its all money grabbing.

Thanks @Matt P . :) It is in a way if only I can fly before my vignette expires but it looks like I'm gonna apply for an extension because CFO needs the original ROM from NSO and we didn't get around to registering our marriage until now. so looks like Im gonna be jumping the waiting wagon again

Hi everyone, just wanted to ask if any of you have tried or know anyone who have applied for transfer of visa? Do you know how long it takes to process it? Am I right to think that it belongs to the 'non-settlement application' category? It's because CFO won't issue a sticker unless we provide them an authenticated report of marriage from NSO and my vignette expires 2 weeks from now. I'm running out of time:/

If you wish to have the vignette transferred you need to go through the UK visa application portal again and apply for the Vignette Transfer.

Reason for visit-Type Of visit-Sub Type
the answer will be as follows:
    Other-Other-Vignette Transfer

Just follow the prompts, on the 'Other Information' state why you want a new vignette and your wifes new expected date of travel to the UK. You will give fresh biometrics and will attend appointment at VFS and submit your passport.

The fee will be for £189 if I'm not mistaken and could take 2 weeks (maybe more).

Thank you @Brom27! Do we need to provide evidence as to why we are requesting for a vignette transfer? I'm a bit worried the ECO might revoke it for some reason.

    Hi
Hi @Mrs_Oggy I recently attended my CFO seminar. We reported our marriage at the embassy in London, last June 27, what I did was in the website dfa or Philippine embassy ( i used the philippine embassy london site ) you can download the report of marriage form and fill it up via PDF file or print it out all in block form. Sign it then scan send to your husband so he could print it out sign and scan it. We got married in London so that's how we did it he took it to the office with the following documents. YOU CAN FIND THE REQUIREMENTS @ bottom of the form. Scan documents will do. I presented the receipt of payment from the embassy along with the marriage certificate when I attended the seminar. I also emailed the embassy for a copy they sent me a stamped soft copy report of marriage certificate. Fortunately they also provided a letter that I can use for the said copy because it will take about 6 months for the actual ROM to get in your local or main PSA/NSO OFFICE.
    I hope this helps you

Hi MrsDoyle, thank you so much! It did help a lot. I'm currently on the phone with my husband telling him what you told me. Just one question though, did they give you a certificate after and later on a sticker once you get your visa?

CFO is a same day process, you get the certificate and then sticker after the seminar. Don't forget to bring your passport with you with a valid visa date. Also don't forget to bring 400php upon arrival as you have to pay.

In my case as I haven't received my passport and visa yet, I only got the certificate after the seminar so, I have to go back for the sticker.

What my husband submitted at the Philippine embassy London

    Original copy of marriage certificate
2 scanned copy of my passport bio page
2 copy of my husband passport bio page
2 copy of driving license husband's
4 copies of report of marriage form all signed by both parties. ( download the form you can fill it up via PDF...once done print it out, sign it scan it send it via email to your husband. He needs to print out 4 copies then sign them all. )
Copy of birth certificate ( mine )
    Cash of 30gbp ( I think it's 27gpb...not sure )
He doesn't need appointment to go just be early for the queue.

    For CFO
I took the following with me :

    Birth certificate
    Copy of my passport
    Copy of my husband's passport
    Marriage certificate
Copy of receipt of payment for ROM from pH embassy london. ( You will have 2 receipts. Scan it individually. )
Copy of the email I sent and received from pH embassy stating why I do not have the one from PSA/NSO
Print out soft copy of ROM with pH embassy stamp logo.

    PS
in your email to the embassy, state the situation you are in and it's a matter of urgency. Or your husband could call them first day morning Monday.

A question, did you got married in London? Or in the Philippines?

Thank you, @MrsDoyle . We got married in England :)

Oh, my husband has already posted the documents today so they should receive it on Monday. Thanks again. Regarding the email, did you email the embassy after your ROM has been processed? How long did it take?

I emailed the embassy 2 days after my husband reported it. They phoned my husband first 3 days after the submission then I received an email on the 8th day after sent the email.

Hope everything will go smoothly for you.
    Good luck!

BTW my husband gave in and phoned the ukvi customer service line last night.. I was surprised that they told him that the reason behind why i received the email on the 60th day of my application "might be due increased backlogs at Sheffield. And advice us to wait for 15 working days for a reply to our escalation."

I told my husband that's the first they said that! Was following a forum and i haven't read a thread saying that excuse.

I hope they'd be more honest when it comes to what's going in on at Sheffield.

@MrsDoyle That's a shocker! at least they are being transparent to applicants regarding the backlog. It does not make sense if they will send you both emails when you have submitted all documents/supporting documents needed. I'm hoping you will hear from them soon.

Did you try tracking it again/did your husband asked the CS what the status of your application is?

I have just spoken to a guy from the civil registry in PE and he said the ROM form with stamp from consul should be enough evidence to show CFO and that they do not send email explaining why I have no copy of the Authenticated ROM from PSA/NSO. I'll just try my luck or email them again next week.

Me and my husband are so grateful for the information, MrsDoyle. I am hoping CFO will accept it and issue me a sticker so I can go back to England. *crossing my fingers and toes* LOL

Thank you @Mrs_Oggy I hope and pray that everything will be okay. Not just for my application but also for thee rest of the good people here in the forum. We all wanted the same things, to be with our family.

I do check the tracking every day. I am not sure if he did asked, he might've but probably forgot to mention, lol I'll ask him tomorrow.

I do not know why he said that, but what I basically state in my email is that " the cfo is asking for ROM CERT from PSA/NSO and i do not have that said document in hand, due to we just reported our marriage recently but have the receipt of payment, I felt that it is not enough to show the CFO people. Is there anyway you could help me with the matter as I have to attend the seminar at the date ( date of seminar provided. ) I have called the consular records division office here in the PH and was informed it will take awhile to get it in the system. I urgently need help/response as I do not have time to wait for awhile as in only have 30 days period to leave the country." Asked them to call my husband for instruction/explanation as i am not currently in London

I obviously sent them a longer one lol.

Hope you'll get the document in time before your appointment. Everything will be okay. Worth to call the cfo office where you are to tell them the situation in advance and what document you got in hand. I did call 3 days before my seminar.

Had an email today from Sheffield. They have started processing our Priority settlement VISA on Working Day 49!
They have stated they aim to complete within 60 working days. And then stated it hasn't been straightforward and won't make it within the 60 working day target.
I have emailed my local MP this weekend as this is completely unacceptable.
We are all in the same boat.

We just got an email today saying that our application is now being taking into consideration and that they aim to complete it within 12 weeks of the application date. I am a bit relieved now our application is somewhere and moving. :)
