wow, are you together now physically? Does your wife live with you in the UK?

No wife not in UK yet we are applying to all go to UK hence the visa applications. We have all have lived in the Philippines for the last 9 years, I was working away but was back in the Phils every other month. I returned to the UK a few months ago but have returned to Philippines to wait for visa decision with them.

Oh i understand, well I hope it all goes through ok, and I am sure it will.

surrydave ...applied settlement visa for my wife 7th of june ...documents arrived at sheffield 8th of june (royal mail tracker service is how i know they arrived ) i have had no text or email from sheffield telling me they have received them...i must say i am a little worried most people seem to get a email or text to let them know sheffied has them ....can anyone let me know if its unusual not to get a text or email from sheffield ....working day 35 and paid Priority

Today exactly 1:30pm I've finally goy my settlement visa!!!
I've been quietly following this thread.
I applied 27th of April -Standard
Received an email and text message that my uk visa has been made 24th of July,Monday
And today at exactly one month before my birthday i got my settlement visa!

This is our 2nd attempt of applying settlement visa the first attempt was refused. Last November 2016. Then re apply again this april 27 .

Don't loose hope " think positive "

my wife has spoken to a friend who works for an agency in the philippines , she has asked if everyone should get an email from sheffield when the documents are received....the lady said some do get an email and some dont, but all 8 clients since the rule change got there visas between 60-70 working days ..just thought i would post this
