Yes, it is a 6-pointer for Europe qualification, John, but Everton have been crap at home for a long time now. DCL is out again and Richarlison is mis-firing. We don't have anyone who knows where the onion bag is anymore so I think Spurs will win.
PGS v Man City Champions league Chelsea v Man City F A cup Spurs v Man City Caribboo ( however you spell it) Man City Premiership they surely can't blow it but in the other 3 competitions all three opposition teams are capable of turnìng top teams over yes even Spurs!
Everton 2-2 Spurs A really entertaining game. Everton shaded it but made two silly defensive mistakes and Spurs have Kane. A fair result.
City could not give a damn about the EFL cup they will play without key players, they have PSG semi-final in mid-week and that is a big priority.
I don't think "could not give a damn" is in the mind of any sports person, as well as the manager, coaches etc. Some players could be lethargic when something is happening in their private lives but most are "winners".
Winning any silverware is any managers priority, it's got to be. Yes all managers have a desired trophy wish list and all owners will have a revenue generating wish list, all players will want a silverware wish list but the immediate trophy has to be priority. It's down to the manager to manage his resources to achieve maximum gain.
I have been moaning about a lot of games that become very boring but the match yesterday between Everton and Spurs was mostly breath-taking. Both teams attacked right from the start and the whole game was a joy to watch. It was like some of the best days in the 1970's. There was lots of crisp passing and efforts were made to score instead of sideways passing all the time. I feel hopeful that Ancelotti has got the players to be positive. We are not at the level that we want to be but next season will be great when the crowds come back too. Spurs played their part and Mourinho's team did so well. All the matches between these two teams this season were wonderful for fans to watch. Happy days. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/56684992
Like I said, Champions League is Pep's priority. Man City have never won it before and Pep has never won the CL cup at City, everything else he's won at City. Big ego.
Watching the City v's Chelsea semi-final match. 0-1 as it stands. Everyone who plays City seem to play like them i.e. boring I hope City's type of football stops and pace and directness are injected once again. It is like 5-a-side football.
PGS v Man City Champions league Chelsea v F A cup Spurs v Man City Caribboo ( however you spell it) Man City Premiership they surely can't blow it but in the other 3 competitions all three opposition teams are capable of turnìng top teams over yes even Spurs! One less for Pep to prioritise
WTF is Pep doing? 8 changes from the midweek game against Dortmund. All I can say is well done Chelsea. Midweek game Villa away, then the spuds final, probably lose that too. Then the climax of Pep's season PSG Champions League Semi-final. Could end up with winning nowt.
