Ice cream loaded fries are the next big thing at Jollibee following a few viral videos on Tiktok. Yes, that's ice cream with chocolate sauce on top of a serving of French fries. It's actually not quite as awful as the description suggests, but don't think I'll order again.
Forty years ago maybe, but this is almost as mad as deep fried mars bars in Scotland, is that coconut flakes on the ice cream?
No it's just experimentation and that's ok, but I certainly would not go for that combination, I might have tried something like that as a 20 year old but certainly not now.
it's the sort of food you give to small children to get them to open their mouths wide as you make aeroplane noises and pretend to fly a spoonful of food into their gaping maws, even then the child would soon wise up to the fact ice-cream on chips didn't have much thought put into the combo
I am going to let my wifes daughter know, she is due to go back for a holiday in the Philippines next week the 6th for a few months while we go into Europe, I wonder if it is on their menus?
The topping certainly does, let's be truthful here, and adult, jollibee appeals to one demographic, in the main, Filipinos, and they aren't renown for their culinary expertise, even here with the huge filipino population there aren't any purely filipino restaurants locally, there's Thai, Indian, lots of Chinese, a few Korean, but even with 340,000 Pinoys in ontario there's very few exclusively filipino restaurants, if dining out they prefer to eat other food.Ice cream on chips is one of the reasons why
I chatted to a family member in the PI earlier and she hadn't heard of ice-cream and chips in jollibee in Davao. Apparently its a UK concept because its been on tik-tok, anyway the ice-cream turns the chips soggy so it will probably fade quite quickly from the menu https://www.insider.com/jollibee-ice-cream-fries-viral-tiktok-photos-review-2022-3?amp
After going in the leicester square one today... Think i will avoid... Ordered a aloha burger and fries.... Bit into the fries... They were so cold.. Doesnt help 20 mins wait after ordering... Then get served cold food
It was yeh.. 14.05 appointment..got seen at 16.30we got there for 13.00.and.after we do get served..we were told cant change last name... Waste of time really
Why did they say can't change last name. Know that marriage needs to be registered at embassey and that would need to be done first although if there early enough and have registry appointment think can get it all done in one day. Managed to register daughter birth in morning registry appointment and having told them we had afternoon appointment for her passport they pulled out stops and did the registration paperwork for when we returned for afternoon passport appointment.
Was told would take 3 to 5 business days♂️.. So we didnt even renew passport... The mrs is comin back next week on herself to sort it once change of name is done... What an horrid place to go... Can tell its filipino aswell... Slug pace with literally everything... The amount of people what were there... They supposed to close at 4.30...the place was still packed waaaaay after that time... As we left around 16.45...and was still bursting with people in the waiting room and even on the stairs aswell..
Yep.. Thats why she is going back next friday now she has recieved her name change etc... Dont think i can take that again lol
