Does anyone know if its getting shown in the phils? I've looked on Clickthecity website and found no info, I may of course just be thick and can't find it! I think TV5monde might show it but can't any schedule plus its likely to be in French!

Our cable provider here is Colorview Mycatv which doesn't appear on the Clickthecity TV providers

I think the 6 Nations will be shown on the Balls channel and possibly Fox Sports and/or Star Sports (Star is a Hong Kong based broadcaster acquired by Murdoch some time last year).

Ta. Star sports seems a reasonable bet if Murdoch has it. I shall keep my eyes peeled anyway

Not necessarily! Much of Star/Fox's programming is US-centric.

Star has always been Murdoch; Wendi Deng was working there when he met her.

I should perhaps clarify my earlier remarks. Until around 6 to 9 months ago, Star TV (Satellite Television Asia Region), Greater China, was pretty much run autonomously by its management team in Hong Kong. Its "House" advertising slots promoted programming only for the Star channels. More recently, Star has rebroadcast Fox programming and the "House" ads are for programming on other Fox channels including the National Geographic channels rather than exclusively for Star.

The difference is that Italy are now generally reckoned to be better than Scotland...

It is always interesting talking to the huge number of scots when it comes to rugby. They tend to go very quiet. Truth be told the do have a fairly small pool to pick from for rugby players compared to the rest of the countries.

Indeed Stu, I'm not the typical Scot and while I do like some sports I don't get worked up over any :D

Actually I quite enjoy watching curling but I wouldn't get worked up about it :)

Amazingly I just discovered last week that Curling was invented in my home town a few hundred yards from where I grew up, I had been asked by a friend in the pub, because I'm a Scot, so I had to look it up.

I got into to it a number of years ago briefly. One of those things to watch on the telly late at night after a visit to the pub. Used to enjoy watching indoor bowls as well!!!
