Moving forward though, i read timelines for british passport processing from Ph could take another few months, do you think it would be faster for me to get a coe for right of abode to join my family and later get a british passport in the uk?

Very difficult to answer as I am not sure how long it takes to get the certificate of R.o.A, however if it were me I would do whats quickest which I am sure you want to do anyway!
Coupled with at the British Citizenship ceremony you can have your family around you (nice memories and photos) and that you are in the UK waiting for the passport the go for the certificate wins IMO

If anyone’s got an idea for recent timeline for first adult passport or Certificate of entitlement right of abode, please do share (or should i make another thread?) it would greatly help me decide what path to take, thanks in advance to members of the forum and thanks for you thoughts on this @Mattecube
