The dispensaries here are filled with fridges of edibles, CBD and THC. Screenshot_20220408_070322.jpg

I don't understand what is being sold on that board! Can you explain please, Druk1?

What are the things in the chiller, Druk1?

If these things are all cannabis-related things, what do the people do with them - are they liquids, solids, hash brownies or what?

One good thing is that it seems tobacco is no longer used with cannabis there, or am I wrong?

I have no idea what goes on these days.
I very occasionally have a rhum and coke and that is it, and even then I worry that having an extra one will jeopardise my driver's license if one of the family becomes ill and needs to go to the hospital.
I don't smoke and mostly just drink tea, never go the pub and am a stay-at-home Dad when not working.
I suppose I am a boring so-and-so but my wife and kids are everything to me.

Bloody hell, you have somehow turned into me
Your right, amongst the younger group here there's been a decline in tobacco smoking, why smoke ciggies when it's not fashionable, cool, and the packet has a photograph of someone with aesophogal cancer in a hospital bed
The chiller has everything, sweets, gummies, THC vape cartridges, hash, edibles, infusions, suspensions, drinks, if it's containing THC or CBD it's there.
The board gives you the BREEDER-STRAIN-THC %-QUANTITY of the pre-rolled joints, some people don't want to roll their own so they buy machine rolled ready made joints, the future is here :ninja:

    Ah, ok.
So it's like the cafe's in Amsterdam (even though I am only going on what I've been told as I never went to Amsterdam for the night life - only passing through en route to other countries by plane on evening connections).
I would have thought that people who want to sell cannabis to people who want to get high would have made a product like hash cakes so the tobacco is eliminated because of the health risks.

To be 100% truthful the Canadian model is far superior but totally different to the Dutch model, here it's more like a supermarket, you don't imbibe on the premises, it's just a well stocked store, in the 'Dam you sit smoke and socialise, there's a big cannabizness expo on near Toronto at the end of the month, a couple of mates from the UK are coming over, should be fun.....

Are you thinking of opening a "headshop" in Canada, Druk1?

Referring to the thread title, I still can't see these head shops opening in the UK which seems so old-fashioned compared to the posts you have shown us in Canada, Druk1.
There are head shops in the UK but they just seem to sell vapes - not what they were like in the 70's in the UK.

Ten years takes us to 2029 (indicated in the thread title) so who knows what the future will bring!

A long time ago, in another life, I did a coffee shop management course at Willie wortels coffee shop, I always keep options open, I have done some very odd but incredibly lucrative things in the past, never say never to anything.
As younger generations get into politics, people more in tune with popular opinion, you will see a gradual drift towards legalisation, after all the UK is the world's biggest exporter of medicinal weed, a supposed deadly drug ;)

"Likes" are friendly, "Dislikes" are unfriendly and unhelpful.
If members dislike something, just ignore the post, no need to be negative.

Mr Angel is a cool dude when he is in character, but some members of his dissociative identity disorder club clash and he has inner turmoil, he needs to smoke some star dawg and relax :)
