Back in Jan 2013 when we went to the Phils last time, I had to get some specs. I walked into a shop in SM Center, Cebu City and the lady showed me the designer specs for £150+ I declined. I had the eye test there and went to SM Center department store. They have specs for reading that just magnifies things. I borrowed one from the store and took it over to the shop to make sure they could fit lenses which they could because the glass was flat, no curve. I bought 10 frames for about £1 each, took them over to the opticians and had 5 "clear" prescription and 5 "sunglasses" prescriptions made. Each pair was less than £10. Ten pairs for less than £110. Job done. I am looking forward to the next trip when I will do the same.
I have already lost quite a few. My kids move everything or throw things away. I move in and out of different artic "units" all the time too. Wish I'd bought more!
Been absent for a while for reasons ill post later. Anyway eye upshot is i went for my eye exam, went for the full biffta with pics of the back of the eye and it looks like.....................there's nowt wrong. My eyes are "within limits" and essentially don't require glasses for another estimated 2-3 years. It would appear that its down to the amount of time I'm spending in front of computer screens. So there we go. Spend less time go ogling and more time looking out of the window which is what I'm supposed to be doing anyway!!!! Thanks everyone, especially howerd for all the concern and advice.
Welcome to the club subeastu! I started wearing specs first year college and there's nothing bad about it. You will get used to it. And, some girls find guys with specs cute!
Well it turns out I don't need specs just yet and as for girls finding some cute with specs I'm not sure my wife will like the sound of that!!!!
