I wonder just how much longer this level of performance can continue.

There's a lot of money been spent and a lot of changes. Too difficult to undo it all now and make a difference to this season I would have thought.

    Interesting times for the 'apprentice'

It seems to me that Roman has a penchant for getting shut of good managers and pick some right donkeys as replacement..

Ancellotti was doing an excellent job, and the best manager since Jose'. He would have got us the Champions League cup sooner or later if given the chance.
This guy is self programmed to talk a lot and without any substance to his drivel, he likes the sound of his own very important voice.
I put him in the same category as Scolari, which is sewer level...

I hope Roman doesn't even consider bringing in Rafa Benitez............... This would open the team to such immense ridicule from merseyside that it could become relly irritating..

Capello would be a good choice... And I wouldn't be surprised he has left England because he has been Tapped already...

His voice drives me crazy. Sounds like Jonny Cash in the morning after.

Just think AVB will be Ok in a couple of years if he's given time.
The squad is old and many players need to be replaced.
    Takes time.

It has been in the cards for quite a while...

Good riddance to bad rubbish, the guy coudn't run a piss up in a brewery, if you ask me.;)

Now we have to be good to Di Matteo, it isn't his fault he has been catapulted into such stressing situation, but with his record as a hard man, he may just go the distance....

Wish him well for the rest of the season...

In the meantime I seem to have heard that the "Special one" has been scouting for properties to purchase in London...:erm:

    [QUOTE=Aromulus;

Ancellotti was doing an excellent job, quiet agree with you, didnt need to sack this fellow in my opinion, chelsea need an experienced manager ,and they have had a few if you look at the past ones pedigrees, not only a manager they need rebuilding, too many older players there who think they can still keep the pace with the younger pros who are running rings around them every week,

if you look at the history of the big clubs , ie, liverpool utd arsenal who have stuck by there managers when they havnt won a trophy every year, they will come good, but the rich russian is like a spoilt kid, i want it now, well with that in mind ,it will be a few years before chelski win anything again until they give there managers a little longer on the throne and let them rebuild the team how they want, avb didnt stand a chance im afraid to say , mind you who can keep the job there? not many
