I think it's always best to err on the side of caution when it comes to ones health, but it's good that we both seem to be over it now.

There are significant benefits to being infected as opposed to only being vaccinated which is that your immune system creates a much broader reponse to the proteins that the virus contains, it does not just target the spike proteins but all the nuclear proteins in the virus, the spike protiens are the key that opens the door but it's what the virus does once the door is open that killed all those poor people that got it.

So in a sense I am quite pleased that I got a recent version and didn't notice it all that much as it should boost my immunity a good bit more.

The vaccines were the godsend that allowed our bodies to be presented with a lesser threat which allowed our immune system to learn more about all the other proteins in the virus.

My son got it from work yesterday he tested positive! :( Albeit he had full vaccines and boosters. But it’s not as bad as when he first had it.

Thanks! Oss , he seems alright. Thanks God for that! It’s not the first time he had it. we used to live together so whenever I had Covid, he always get it.

Fortunately, this time I don’t live with him anymore. So I am not likely to get it off him through WhatsApp! :D

When I first had it in 2019, I haven’t had any vaccines yet! I thought I am going to die. Had it again in 2020 then 2022!

I'm laughing at the 'What's App' comment :D

Me I've had it twice, first time very mild and my last vaccination at the time was nearly a year prior, second time basically tonsilitis and 8 months from my last vaccination in January 2023, nothing right now apart from a slightly runny nose at this time of year and even that has almost gone away when I have been clearly exposed, I had been wondering if any ohter colleagues had this as one of them has been feeling like crap for more than a week. :)

Nowadays, whenever I go out and whenever I feel my throat is itching, I get paranoid I catches Covid again! But I think this Covid has been treated as like typical flu. Because they just tell you to stay at home and don’t spread germs!:lol::lol:
