@Ayesha yesterday i received an email from FCO stating the decision has been made and documents will be forwarded back to vfs ( this happened at 11:30am) and then i received a text from vfs (4:15pm) that they have received the visa application. This morning (9:48am) i received an email from vfs with the following context

    "
    Dear PORTIA ,

The processed visa application for GWF reference number - GWXxxxxxxxxx was received at the UK Visa Application Centre on 12/15/2015 .
If a courier service was purchased from VFS Global, your processed application will be delivered to the chosen address.

If not, your documents can be collected during the designated passport collection times.

Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email."

apparently my visa application is for pick up and I have been dying the whole day to get a message from them that I can go ahead and pick up my documents

I, too, did not get any notification that my visa is ready for pick up. I also did not avail the courier service. What I did was wait for 4 days and went to VFS Cebu within their collection times (2-3pm). Not so sure about the collections times for Manila, though.

Hi Portia... My friend who applied for settlement visa like you received same email today. Since she stays in the Makati area, she immediately went to VFS to see if she can already collect her documents. Lucky her because she received the email before 2PM. Collection times are the same for Cebu and Manila, 2-3PM. She's flying to the UK next week. Good luck :like:
