After 8 glorious and enthralling years, he decided enough is enough, and leaves while on a high. I am full of gratitude and admiration for a man that has helped Chelsea, immensely, in achieving everything possible. Sometime he angered me with his silly and unnecessary antics, but on the whole, I always was entertained, so no grudges at all....... I wish him all the best, in whatever he decides to do and I am sure His african charities will not suffer because of it. So long.....
He also said he wouldn't play in another English team. Fair play!! He is leaving because he knows he will get left out for a new team being brought in and fair play to him, he wants to end his career in a first team, not on the bench.
