For once Liverpool turned up in force and gave us a convincing display of power.... About time too.........:shock: They were slowly becoming the joke team in Europe. And a very well done to Man City.. Man Utd bottled it against some inferior northern team busy working for the draw. Not nice to watch, especially as Fergie didn't field the proper team, thus belittling the importance of the Champions League Cup. Maybe he was resting his players in view of the weekend clash vs Liverpool, maybe not..... It still doesn't justify it, especially as by doing that he is also taking the mickey out of the fans.:
