We had an Erich Von Daniken moment in a thread a few weeks back. Popular back in the last century. He was also known for fraud.

But I enjoyed reading his books.

I'll shut up now about my views on God and religion, and go back to making my plans for Wales (especially luring in lovely ginger ninjas.) Hahahahahahhaha...

I was dissapointed that Jenibele did not give her opinion on The Theory of Everything.

Do yourself a favour and don't tell the Welsh ladies that your goal in life is to get rich, you will get laughed at at every turn if you do!
If you want to get rich, do it quietly and without fuss but have a much more exciting goal to talk about when having polite conversation.

Aww. I didn't know you shifted back to topic. I do not know about the Theory of Everything. One, I haven't seen the movie and two I am not much into science. Three, I haven't read any articles about it. I majored literature in college so I know philosophies like transcendentalism or the Emersonian Oversoul. Where it
says that we are all part of that greater existence which is the oversoul. The idea is that every one of us is connected eternally to every living thing in the universe. Alone we cannot go far but with the help of others we can achieve a specific goal. There is also the philosophical notion of absurdity where it teaches us that individual lives and human existence have no meaning nor order and any attempt to find reason is futile.

If you watch it, you might find yourself identifying with Hawkin's wife. Its a fantastic story and worth watching.

I was married for quite a number of years to a lady who was born in, and brought up in , the Iglesia ni Cristo.

Naturally most of my in-laws were members. I am no expert on that organisation but it seems to me that some are more fervent than others, just like any other denomination.

Watched all but half hour of it. Very interesting. Honours even, though Hitchins comes across as a bit of a bullshiner.

Did she quit her religion for you? Her relatives must not have taken that well?

I noticed most of you are old enough to be my father. I'm a bit confused as to how I would address you. Should I call you John?

Didn't see that in what he was saying, I did see that in Frank Turek.

I've watched all of it, Frank Turek does not deserve a response.

Personally, 'po' troubles me, but to each their own :)

There's a difference about trying to make light of a situation and humour and actual conversation and going with the flow. I'm not a foolish man, 'dear sir' like you might like to think that I am because of my tongue-in-cheek comments.

And I don't need to do myself a favour. I have others who can do that for me, if I wish to. So many others that can do that. Have a good day.

Uhuh. No problem. I'll address everybody how they want to be addressed. It's a little unusual for me not to give titles to people who are older than me though. . even if it's just a two year gap.
