best to amend--or start a new one. you can apply up to 3 months ahead of your intended travel date---but if you do defer your application till the 26th of june --remember the 28 days on your documents--like bank statements.

well--if they're not ready to tie the knot in the next 4 months--then so be it. no point going through a very expensive charade just to please others.

edited--dont forget--if they do get wed--and she wants to stay here--they will have to front up another £1033 + £1000 in FLR and IHS fees before the 6 months is up.

We are both finishing our Affidavit. Do they need to be signed by anyone ?

The Affidavit needs to be done at the British embassy in Manila, if you are getting married in Phills, Im not sure about affidavits for the fiancee visa.

I'm sorry to join in your thread. I just want to ask regarding accommodation. My partner is staying at his mum's rented flat in UK. We are applying for fiancee visa with two children. Its a two-bedroom flat, living room and kitchen. It's a bit tricky to get my partner a rented place as we are not sure when we will get visa approved. He doesn't want to rent a place just before the application. Can we use his mum's place for the accommodation on the application? It's only temporary. Thank you very much.

    How old are the children?
You will have to get the landlords permission in most cases.
The property must not be in the view of UKBA overcrowded
If mum sleeps in one room that puts 4 of you in the other bedroom!
Unless your going to try and use the lounge or kitchen as a bedroom.
Temporary or not it must not be overcrowded

You will find the detail in this link

you need to be in accomodation that is not overcrowded, i doubt that your partners mum,s is big enough, it would be sufficient for the two of you, but you really need 3 bedrooms for all of you plus the kids, thats unless there is a room you can convert, and as mattecube says you will need written permission from the Tennant as a minimum requirement, I got written permission from the Tenant, not from the lanlord, but i am a lodger that already rents accomodation, and didnt need additional rooms what i had was sufficient for my wife and me, but everyones circumstances are different, but i would suggest overcrowding is a main reason for refusal.
