I've Just Noticed you have a couple of documents I don't have

• SU07/12 form
• NBI Clearance

Are these required?

No they are not a requirement.

i think su07/12 could be required for a dependant child application. unless someone can prove otherwise ?

From what i read on ukvi website, it's for adult dependent relative.

its very interesting reading through that link--just look at the numbers of ADR refusals each year since 2012--compared to those few successful applications.

As I understand it it is a sponsor undertaking declaration and should be used by anyone who is sponsoring another person regardless of that person's age!

it cant do any harm including one in any application.

just bear in mind though----if it is in connection with a dependant relative in law--you could be held liable for their upkeep for the next 5 years !

come to think of it--on the appendix 2 form---a lot of it relates to the sponsor---but there is no requirement for the sponsor to sign it-----so i guess it would be difficult to enforce if the applicant needed financial support during the settlement period

And that is how I understand the form is used
A declaration of sponsorship,home address and employment.
I have a feeling the forum debated this forms useage about 18 month ago. I think the outcome was " not sure but takes little time to complete"

What’s confusing about the SU07 form is that a lot of people submitted it and got the visa but also, a lot of people applied without it and got the visa so I think to be fair we can’t really say. No one was also refused because of not submitting the form. I guess the decision to include it will depend on the applicant and sponsor.

I've now included them in the packs I'm sending to sheffield.

i will be including one in my sponsorship for my wifes sons application. daft not to.
