The Philippines’ men’s national football team said late Saturday evening that the LA Galaxy will be in Manila in early December to play with the world’s most improved team, the Azkals. The visit of David Beckham’s team will come soon after Real Madrid and Fundacion Mapre visit Davao del Sur to advance grassroots football. Ace Bright, Azkals media liaison and team coordinator, announced the LA Galaxy visit via his Twitter account. He said the La Galaxy-Azkals match will be played at the Rizal football stadium. The Azkals were the most improved football team in the world based on the latest ELO rankings.
